NIDA is an emerging Korean skincare brand built around effective everyday formulas rather than complicated routines. The range concentrates on the three things most skin responds to first — hydration, moisture-barrier support and a healthy-looking glow — and delivers them through familiar K-beauty ingredients such as centella, rice, peptides, propolis, niacinamide and salmon PDRN.

NIDA's approach is layered rather than aggressive. Water-light textures come first — a milky toner and lightweight serums that put moisture back into the skin — followed by richer creams that help hold it there. Hydrators such as multiple weights of hyaluronic acid, panthenol, squalane and ceramide NP are paired with barrier-friendly soothers like centella and ferment extracts, so the actives in the range sit in a comfortable base.

Targeted ingredients are then added a step at a time: peptides and PDRN for firmness and smoothness, alpha-arbutin and tranexamic acid for uneven tone, gluconolactone and salicylic acid for congestion. The idea is that you choose the one or two treatments your skin actually needs and keep the hydrating, protective steps constant.

• Propolis — a nourishing bee-derived extract paired with peptides and centella in the Peptide Propolis Renewal Serum.
• Hyaluronic acid — used in several molecular weights across the range, including the Ultimate Moisturizing Cream, for cushioned, plump-looking hydration.
• Niacinamide — a well-studied vitamin B3 derivative for the look of uneven tone and refined texture; it appears in most of the range.

PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide, listed on cosmetic labels as Sodium DNA) is one of the most talked-about ingredients in current Korean skincare. In a cosmetic formula it behaves as a rich hydrator and conditioning agent, and it is usually paired with peptides in serums aimed at smoother, firmer-looking skin.

In the NIDA range, PDRN sits in the NIDA Salmon PDRN Peptide Serum (50ml), which combines 10,000ppm salmon PDRN with niacinamide and a six-peptide complex in a lightweight, fast-absorbing texture. It layers comfortably over the rice milky toner and under the Ultimate Moisturizing Cream.

Centella asiatica has been a mainstay of Korean skincare for years because it suits routines built around soothing, hydration and barrier care — its madecassoside and asiaticoside fractions are the reason it appears in so many products for skin that flushes or feels tight.

NIDA uses it in two steps: the fragrance-free NIDA Centella Hydrating Serum (50ml), a watery hydrating serum with niacinamide, panthenol, hyaluronic acid and peptides, and the NIDA Centella Deep Pore Cleansing Foam (120ml), a cleansing foam for congestion-prone skin that still wants a calm finish. Centella also appears as a supporting ingredient in the Peptide Propolis Renewal Serum and Ultimate Moisturizing Cream.

Rice-based skincare is the gentler side of glow: rice bran water is used for soft, comforting hydration and a smoother, brighter-looking surface rather than a strong active effect.

The NIDA Youth-Boosting Rice Milky Toner (150ml) is the hydrating entry point — a milky toner with rice bran water, niacinamide, squalane, ceramide NP and peptides. For texture, the NIDA White Rice Whitehead Exfoliating Serum (50ml) uses rice with gluconolactone and arbutin for whiteheads and rough surface texture, while the NIDA Black Rice Blackhead Exfoliating Serum (50ml) pairs rice bran water with charcoal and salicylic acid for blackheads and visible congestion. Introduce either exfoliating serum gradually and wear sunscreen during the day.
